Every year brings new chapters and gives closure to the previous one. We get to introduce a new side of ourselves; more mature and experienced. The transformation does not make sense initially but later on, every bit of it feels worthy. We find life scattered and this is what makes us struggle. The famous phrase coined by Herbert Spencer - " Survival of the Fittest" seriously impacted the budding minds as quoted in every possible way instead this made people chase mediocrity rather than exploration.
Surviving is not a difficult task, but living is. Everyone can survive with basic resources. But as a greedy population, we want to seize every alluring luxury. I remember something in this context pointed out by 'The Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi' -“The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.” The luxuries could make us stand in the designated society, but they could not satisfy us.
We try to walk forward, yet we only know the way backwards. It takes a long time to learn how to unlearn. The past holds us tightly, and the present gives us little rest. We know how it would feel to lose people, but we don't know how we're going to handle it. Everything stays even without staying. We live in memories and moments. The forevers are myths, and all ifs are realities.
This year, I got a chance to meet some beautiful people, dive into the world of books, watch the cinema, which captured emotions, and conquer fears, which put a stop to bringing out the best in me. I am more blessed and grateful for the past years. I would love to cherish the bondings. I am looking forward to changing the calendar and stepping into the new year happily.
All I claimed, I was in love;
With everything that made me smile.
All I claim, I am in love;
With everything that makes me exile.
All I would claim, I will be in love;
With everything that would make me versatile.
