Life goes on while waiting for that someday. Most things have been postponed until someday arrives. The long list of films to watch and the piles of books to explore await compilation for that elusive day. Many meet-ups have been promised in the name of someday, and numerous trips are secretly planned. Someday embodies our deepest yearnings and beliefs. We strive to shed our mechanised skin by then. We write paragraphs filled with the desire to craft the emotions someday. Opening our hearts is akin to removing a ribbon from a gift. Until then, we keep imagining how the blossom would come.
I believe everything that has destroyed us at first will save us later someday. Life has given us the framework of 'someday' to rely upon during our gloomy days. 'Someday' is a reflection of the hope we hold in fate. No, it does not signify procrastination; rather, it arises from a packed schedule and responsibilities. All things must be regarded carefully until 'someday.' Might we not need another 'someday' to fulfil what is meant to occur on 'someday!'
'Someday….'
Someday, I will realise;
The wrinkles accompany the charm of faces,
The silence captures the room, full of races.
The handrest rests the uneasiness of years,
The frames hang the uncontested series of fears.
The glimpses blur the clarity of yesterday,
The gulping of water amuses the uncertainty of today.
The oldest book narrates the story of the dark,
The last journal nurtures the question mark.
Someday, I will realise;
Someday is just a myth.
